Single Planetary Mixer
- Mixing element (commonly known as the beater) rotates in a planetary motion inside the mixer bowl
- The most commonly used beaters are the batter, wire whip and hook type.
- The discharge of material from the mixer bowl can be by hand scooping when the material is pasty and does not flow or through a bottom discharge valve when the material is flowable.
- The single planetary mixer is used for mixing of dry and wet powders, light pastes, gels and dough.
